Information You Submit
When you enter a name, telephone number, or address in a search box, that query goes to the outside company furnishing the results. We do not keep a server copy of the query. A message to us contains whatever information you decide to include, which we use only to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review combined traffic data to maintain the service and understand page use. Basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement may rely on cookies or comparable technology.
What We Do With This Data
We use this limited information to operate and repair the service, measure visits, and improve its pages. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to county and state portals, archives, library collections, and outside search services. Information submitted after leaving this site is governed by the destination's privacy policy. This includes sponsored results furnished by another company.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
The Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act, Indiana Code chapter 24-15, took effect January 1, 2026. Within its scope and exceptions, it grants covered consumers rights involving access, correction, deletion, portability, and certain processing choices. Because we retain little information, a request ordinarily calls for checking the contact mailbox and server logs. Send a request through the Contact page. Government records remain controlled by their state, county, or city custodians under the Indiana Access to Public Records Act, Indiana Code chapter 5-14-3, and other specific laws. Requests to correct or remove those records must go to the responsible office.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
